Shidoshi James Clum of  the Azusa Bujinkan Dojo began studying martial arts 31 years ago.    Since this time he has had the opportunity  and honor to travel and learn from some  of the very best martial artists and mentors.

• Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu-Shidoshi (Licensed Teacher) 

• Hapkido- 5th degree black belt (Godan)  
• Jujutsu- 5th degree black belt (Godan) 
• Yoshin Ryu-4th degree black belt (Yondan) 
• Aikido- 2nd degree black belt (Nidan)  

His first and primary teachers are  Shihan Richard Van Donk and Soke Masaaki Hatsumi of Noda, Japan.  In 2009,  Shidoshi Clum also began teaching Aiki Goshin Ho Jujutsu to the public  as a completely unique self-defense learning method  designed for individuals to gain maximum  competency faster than standard approaches.   This method was the culmination of his martial arts experience, researching learning theory,  and over 23 years of experience teaching a variety of subjects in both the private and public sectors.   Shidoshi Clum started the Azusa Bujinkan Dojo in 2004 with the goal of helping people to empower themselves through traditional Japanese martial arts as a way of life.
