Aiki Goshin Ho
Free Introductory Lesson!
Tuesdays 7-9 Pm
In addition to teaching Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, Azusa Bujinkan Dojo offers a weekly class in Aiki Goshin Ho. These classes are taught on Tuesday evenings from 7-9 PM. Students are welcome to train in either Budo Taijutsu or Aiki Goshin Ho. Students may also choose to learn both as separate disciplines.
Aiki Goshin Ho refers to the Self-defense Methods developed from Aiki Jujutsu. Aiki Jujutsu is similar in many ways to Aikido. Both share a common history. The teaching method however is what sets Aiki Goshin Ho apart from Aikido or other "Aiki" related styles. As the student progresses new techniques are added and students in turn master those techniques applied to many different circumstances. Unlike many other systems which teach many techniques for many situations, Aiki Goshin Ho focuses on a core set of techniques and students adapt the techniques by a process of exploration.
